Is my ideology that obvious?

A perspective on the Ec 10 walkout from Connel Fullenkamp, a one-time pupil who forthwith teaches at Duke:

I actually don’t scream back that Professor Mankiw was trying to brainwash his students amongst whatsoever conservative ideology or agenda. I brand this contention based on my ain experiences.... I was a teaching assistant for Mankiw’s first-year Ph.D. course of didactics inwards macroeconomics for 2 years, which way that I sat inwards on his entire course of didactics twice.

If there’s whatsoever potent ideological undercurrent inwards Mankiw’s teaching, I would say that it’s Nerdism: the belief that people should brain to, as well as larn from, nerds.  Because believe me—and I say this amongst genuine honour as well as affection—Mankiw is a nerd’s nerd.
