The Burden of the Debt

Paul Krugman has several posts discussing the burden of the national debt.  Some readers induce got asked me for my accept on the topic.  Let me advert them to this onetime paper I wrote alongside Larry Ball.  It provides a nontechnical overview.  Even though it is sixteen years old, I mean value it holds upward pretty well.
